Those who believe that IoT must undergo technical disruptions have it both right and wrong. The Internet of Thighs itself is a logical evolutionary development of the information and communication technologies, a continuation of the PCS and M2M logic — but at a drastically different level. The "internetization" principle of interaction first applied the traditional Internet was transferred to "things" or devices and has bestowed the world with new companies, new business processes and new business models.

The use in IoT solutions and products of artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality is what actually makes the everyday breakthroughs. Actually, we no longer realize how habitual the "connected" or "smart" things have become over the last 2 to 3 years. Boom gates in the Moscow yards and summer cottages in the Moscow region are no longer lifted by gatekeepers but phone calls. Your smartphone fills in the payment details in your Sberbank app by scanning the barcode. You adjust the temperature of your gas-fired boiler at home with a mobile device. In other words, the everyday world is full of such examples.

It looks like the next breakthrough will be to move over the Internet of Anything, IoA, which you may even miss – so comfortable you will feel using these services around you.
